Runny Chocolate Cake

Over to her… I found this recipe in Rosa Jackson book “La cuisine des paresseuses” (“Cooking for lazy girls”). It’s inspired by the original recipe created by the famous french cook Guy Savoy. In Rosa’s book, it belongs to a special menu called “Le menu macho”, specially dedicated to passionate romances It’s also the fastest chocolate cake i have ever cooked – and it’s really runny and yummy.

Tuna Mexic

First of all, apologies to everyone for the lack of posts in the last few weeks. Sometimes something has to give in the endless plate spinning exercise of life… I have a few submissions to add which have been sent in for the Hottest Recipe Competition, and we are also extending the competition until the end of May (the 32nd? )

This is a lovely hot recipe from Angie…

‘This recipe it’s so popular in Mexico because when you’re tired, or maybe you want to get out to picnic with your family, cook this recipe (easy, fast, delish and healthy). When I cook this, I remember when I was a little child and my family and I travelled many places in Mexico, when my dady saw a wonderful landscape with incredible natural wealth, he stopped and we went down to enjoy nature.’

Mangonada

Iveth Morales kicks off the Hottest Recipe Competition with this hot drink from her home country: Mexico. She says, ‘It’s like a slush, you can drink it but also eat it with a spoon. It has two main ingredients: mangoes and chamoy sauce, which is a sweet and spicy sauce made from apricots and chillies (among other things). I guess in Britain you can find it in mexican or latinamerican specialty stores. Mangonada is really spicy and sweet at the same time, it is also extremely good!’
